After a morning of crystal clear blue skies and strong sunshine I headed off to central London this afternoon for a photo shoot in an office with no windows, so it didn't matter that the grey clouds rolled in again. On my way home I was waiting to cross the road at Trafalgar Square when I saw what I initially thought was Prince's Love Symbol (#2). The sign quickly turned to red so I had to wait for the traffic (human and vehicular) to pass before it turned back to green. But no, the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as Prince had not been commemorated here, and of course the colour would have had to be purple. Instead, apparently 50 signals around the square had been changed with diversity images in advance of the Pride in London parade in June.
