THE SOUTH FACE

I spent a couple of days at the seaside this week, in weather that drew hordes of people to the water's edge.  Although I was tempted to photograph a few of them who were exhibiting typical Brits on the beach behaviour, Martin Parr has been there and done that many times, so instead I pointed my camera in the opposite direction, towards the side of this building.  It looked to me like the peak of a mountain in the Alps, but impossible to scale, if you know what I mean.
