SEE A PIN AND ...

... PICK IT UP is the first half of a rhyme I remember as a child, and whenever I see one on the ground I do, so when I stepped out of the Gagosian Gallery in London yesterday and saw this pin on the pavement I had no alternative but to put it in my pocket for the rest of my day, which involved several other appointments ending in a Private View of photographs of Muhammad Ali by Peter Angelo Simon at the Serena Morton II gallery.  The prediction in the second half of the rhyme was correct, as I was lucky enough to chat to Peter privately about his work, and particularly about the photographs in this exhibition, which runs until 28 May.  The AVEDON WARHOL exhibition at the Gagosian London ends on 23 April.  If you're a fan of Andy or Richard, or both (like me), and you'll be in London before then, you're in luck too.
