The big guns were out yesterday at the Photography Show, where between train journeys to and from the NEC I found out the answers to some questions I had about the equipment I'm thinking about upgrading to before too long.  I don't have any interest in long lenses, but there were lots of them on display, some possibly worn by visitors as evidence of their membership of the armies of followers of the many camera brands represented there.  As I took this photo with my Sony RX100 (which was the smallest camera I saw all day), I was reminded of the recruits' prayer from Full Metal Jacket.  Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless.  Amen.
