I did need that extra stop on Friday but not for this shot, because there was lots of late evening sunlight bouncing off the walls of the Royal Hospital Chelsea behind me onto the brass band who were welcoming guests to a recital there by virtuoso cellist Yo-Yo Ma.  I'd hoped to take a photograph of Petunia, his cello made by Domenico Montagnana in 1733 and now worth millions, but it was quickly spirited away by Yo-Yo's manager, which I thought was a little over-protective.  After all, Yo-Yo has left it in the back of a taxi only once, so far.
