I was dashing around London a lot today, trying to fit in as many appointments as I could between rush hours, including a visit to Google's UK HQ where I eavesdropped on an elevator pitch, in an elevator of course, by a young New Yorker who had an idea for a startup.  Doesn't everyone now?  Before that I broke my personal best for drinking a large latte from Costa, but while I was in there I still had enough time to photograph the droves of workers marching purposefully in the mall under Canary Wharf and thank my lucky stars that at least I didn't have to hurry back to a desk, not until now anyway.
