I've written several times over the years about Grayson Perry, my favourite transvestite potter from Essex, but I've never met him in person, or (more accurately) in either of his personas, but while I was restoring my caffeine levels yesterday after a very early start, the man himself walked right past me as his female alter-ego Claire.  My professional camera kit was zipped up inside its roller case so I only had time to retrieve the iPhone from my pocket and take this shot through the window of the coffee shop, so please don't judge this image on technical quality.  I often repeat the well-worn advice that "the best camera is the one you have with you", but I should probably add to that "and is ready to shoot with".
