I arrived a very early for a shoot in the City yesterday so I took the opportunity to drop off my kit and walk to this construction site in Plumtree Court.  For years I worked in the building that stood there and as I took a few photos from the Victorian staircase opposite (which will probably still be there long after the new building has been demolished) I tried to guess where my office (Room 101) and the studio I built would have been in what is now not so fresh air.  When I got home I let Photoshop merge the photos together and I noticed how most of the traffic had disappeared.  On the day when I used Über for the first (and second) time, and had to be driven miles away from the direct route because of roadworks and diversions, I'm sure that Boris Johnson would have approved.
