This is another example of "the best camera is the one you have with you", or rather "me", and today it was my iPhone and its numerous camera apps and filters.  Far easier to carry than any of what I might call the proper cameras I have at home, although of course there are limitations.  However, I'm keeping a close eye on the Light L16 camera which was announced last week.  It uses 16 lenses of various focal lengths to produce 52 megapixel images and is around the size of an iPhone 6 Plus.  And similar to Lytro cameras, it lets you choose the depth of field after taking a photo.  You'll have to wait until September 2016 until you can buy one (for $1700) but in the meantime you find out more at https://light.co and watch Light's founders tell their story at https://vimeo.com/141273968.
