TRAINS, CRANES AND STRUCTURAL STEEL

While lightening crackled all around London this afternoon I was on the top floor of the Citypoint tower.  In what's become a bit of a habit I took a moment before my subjects arrived to capture the view through the nearest window, and I'm sure it will all look quite different before too long, especially after the Crossrail project has been completed and the area around Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations, including the park in the centre of Finsbury Circus, has been restored.  If you've missed the first two episodes of the excellent BBC series The Fifteen Billion Pound Railway, you can still find them on iPlayer.  Urban heart surgery with all the drama of ER (RIP).
