At least once a year I try to attend a workshop to help me keep up to date with the latest photographic hardware and software, and to learn something new from acknowledged experts.  Yesterday I spent the day with Dutch fashion photographer Frank Doorhof at Great Fosters, near Egham in Surrey, a beautiful country house hotel built as a hunting lodge for Henry VIII.  The stunning grounds feature a spectacular array of topiary, cared for by a busy team of gardeners led by Russell, who I photographed with my little Fuji X-Pro1 while the big Canon and Nikon SLRs were being directed towards Frank's favourite model Marie.
