There's something quite poignant about leaves falling to the ground before they've had their time in the sun.  It's only March but already the Red Robin in my garden has dropped plenty, obviously not because it's Autumn but just as obviously because of leaf spot, which apparently could be due to a wet winter, the plant's location or an attack by fungus.  Unfortunately I can't do much about the first two so I've got some fungus killer to try to cure the problem.  Photosynthesis is just as mystifying to me as the process by which digital camera sensors capture light and convert it into electricity, but fortunately I didn't need to understand either to take this photograph.  It did make me think though.
