LITTLE ROCK

I've been thinking about resolutions recently, not because it's almost the start of a new year, but because I'm on a quest to produce ever higher resolution images for the fine art market, although this would involve a considerable outlay in some very expensive digital equipment if I'm not to return to the medium of film. Yesterday evening I'd visited a gallery in Mayfair to view some photographic prints of East German allotments in the early 1970s, which I guessed had been shot (no irony intended) with a medium or large format camera, and was walking back towards Soho when I saw this hoarding around a new development in Regent Street.  As this was about 20 metres long I had to assume that there was something bigger than a 35mm sensor involved.  So.  Dear Santa ...
