I spent yesterday evening away from my Mac for a change, to attend a lecture by Edward Webb on the history and trends of portrait photography.  He began by passing out these Victorian cartes de visite which his grandfather had collected, but sadly we had to hand them back.  The event was hosted by Liz Gee in her own home, as part of a series of presentations and discussions on all sorts of topics based around the principle of investment.  To find out more, please visit The Lecture Club's website.
